BC United Adds New Director of Coaching - Colton Bly

BC United is pleased to announce that Colton Bly has been hired as the Director of Coaching. He takes the reigns as BC is experiencing unprecedented growth through the winter transfer period. Colton comes to the Club from Western New York Flash where he served as Boys Youth Director of Coaching, and head coach of teams in the ECNL. Prior to Flash, Colton served as Director of Coaching with BC United.

Colton played collegiately at the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford, where he graduated with a BS in Health and Physical Education and is a licensed teacher in the state of Pennsylvania. He's a current USSF B License holder, and is on course to obtain his USSF A license in early May.

Colton's responsibilities at the Club will center around his passions: coach and player development pathways. While initially coaching at the 11v11 level, Colton will be responsible for mentoring coaches, video analysis frameworks and establishing a new game model for Academy, Developmental and Senior levels at the Club. He will also be integral filling the Club's Director of Soccer role by screening candidates in the coming months.
